Surprising breakfast options delight

Each morning, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of breakfast options, including chicken and waffles. The overall atmosphere felt warm and welcoming.

The fresh hot coffee was fantastic! We enjoyed nice clean flooring and the quiet air-conditioning made for a comfy stay. Plus, plenty of parks nearby to enjoy some lovely strolls.

Check-in was so slow it felt like we were auditioning for a waiting room commercial.

We had a lovely time hanging out at Midway Park, just a short drive from the hotel. It was great for the kids, with plenty of space to run around and play. The staff welcomed our pet dog, making our stay even more enjoyable. The complimentary cookies and coffee were a delightful bonus, too!

My kids wished the room had been cleaner and better maintained.

Noisy environment.

We had a nice stay for 3 nights and the breakfast was decent with a hardworking staff member who always made sure nothing ran out. The outdoor pool was perfect for relaxing after a long day and the amenities really added to our comfort. One small hiccup was that the renovation work was a bit noticeable, but it didn’t take away from our experience at all. 😊

Caught a game at Charlotte Sports Park and enjoyed some amazing golf at Charlotte Harbor National Golf Club. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help. Just be aware that it could get noisy, especially on weekends.

During our stay, we faced noise issues from nearby guests that affected our sleep, which was a bummer. We called the front desk multiple times with no resolution.

I appreciated the easy access to nearby attractions, making my stay convenient. However, I noticed some signs of wear and tear in the room, especially stains on the carpet and sofa. There were also no bacon options at breakfast, which would have been nice. My stay was enjoyable overall, but those small details could make it even better.

Just a balanced option for a city trip in Port Charlotte with decent value for money. The beds were really comfortable and I appreciated having a microwave to heat up snacks. If you want a quieter experience, try to ask for a room away from the busy road outside.
